Notes for applicants

How can I be well prepared for the job interview
for an apprenticeship at AGU?

If we invite you, it means you have already written us an interesting application and we look forward to meeting you. During the interview, we want to determine whether we are a good fit for you and you for us.
After introducing the participants in the conversation, we will try to reduce any nervousness you may have. This way, we want to help you to be able to talk about yourself in a relaxed manner. We will ask you about your motivation for the job and hope for an interesting presentation on your part. Try to convince us of your passion and interest in the job. Why this job in particular? Of course, we have looked at your certificates and your CV and usually have a few questions about them. Good grades are usually self-explanatory, but bad grades are not an argument against employment. Explain them to us. Commitment and the ability to work in a team are very important to us in our company. You can learn a lot if you are motivated. We try to recognize this in the interview.
What should you do in preparation?

  • Take a look at our website and try to understand what we do.
  • Commercial training: You should take a look at percentage calculations.
  • IT specialist training: If you state in your application that you already have basic knowledge of programming, you should refresh your experience. We will definitely ask about it.

Good luck with the interview!
