What is PEC?
The „Sm@rtLine Plant & Engineering Center®“ (PEC) is a comprehensive solution from AGU for organizing and optimizing safety-related inspection processes in companies. PEC enables centralized management of inspections in the areas of explosion protection, functional safety, and other important safety aspects, and supports users in efficiently fulfilling operator obligations and passing audits without any problems. The gradual digitization of the originally paper-based testing organization facilitates the transition and enables existing data to be migrated smoothly. By using digital workflows, such as tablets and automated evaluations, PEC reduces operating costs in the long term and relieves employees in their daily work.

PEC-EX - Explosion Protection
PEC-EX is a modern tool for electrical and mechanical testing in hazardous areas. Based on legal requirements, test kits are offered for testing in consultation with the process and plant safety department at Currenta GmbH. The tests can be carried out using a tablet. The tests are managed in PEC-EX and stored with an electronic signature.

PEC-Mobile Paperless Inspections
PEC Mobile for Android, Windows, and iOS mobile devices is a versatile tool for paperless execution of PEC examination workflows.
It can be checked offline, and the results can be transferred to PEC afterwards via Wi-Fi or USB connection. In the future, direct online transfer will also be possible. Documents relevant to the exam can be viewed directly in the app in PDF format. PEC Mobile also simplifies the inspection workflow with special features such as taking and saving photos of inspections (even for individual inspection sets), which are then also transferred to PEC.

SIOeasy: Inspection and Organization
AGU Planungsgesellschaft für Automatisierungs-, Gebäude- und Umwelttechnik mbH today announced the market launch of its new software solution, SIOeasy. The application aims to significantly simplify and digitize the management and implementation of inspections in companies.
At the heart of SIOeasy is its ability to import existing test plans in PDF format and convert them into a digital workflow.
